Cori’s herd consists of four cuddling cows – Snap, Crunch, Pebbles, and Little Rock – that are the heart of the experience, with two steers – Captain and Crunch – that are only available upon special request. Read their stories below and come hear more in person.
Snap
Snap is a Jersey Steer with a calm but playful spirit. He is very affectionate and often the visitor’s favorite. Snap often delivers kisses and hugs to his favorite farm visitors.
Crackle
Crackle is also a Jersey steer, a recently retired member of the herd. He is a born leader with a calm yet commanding presence. He is strong willed, independent, and full of mischief. Although Crackle is not part of everyday cow cuddling sessions, visitors can make a special request to Cori to see Crackle living like a king at Mary’s Land Farm.
Captain
Captain is a Highland Cross steer with a silly and outgoing disposition. He is also recently retired and may be available upon special request. He loves meeting new friends, searching pockets for special treats, or nuzzling guests until he gets chin scratches and hugs.
Crunch
Crunch is an Aryshire Steer with a strong powerful presence. He is the herd leader that loves all the attention, grooming, and hugs. Crunch wants in on all the action and will remind everyone he’s the boss.
Pebbles
Pebbles is a Highland / British White Park heifer with big eyes and long white eye lashes. She is a sweet soul who starts shy but quickly joins in on the action. Her good looks make her a fan photo favorite.
Millie
Mooing mutt Millie is a Blue heeler mix rescue owned by Cori who tags along for chores and sessions. She loves to get in on the action
